Jessica Fourie | Owner | Physiotherapist

Well known as The Arthritis Physio, Jessica covers clients mainly with arthritis, complex injuries and auto-immune conditions but also has over 17 years of experience in musculoskeletal conditions, aged care, injury prevention, education and sport. She has a deep passion for offering a holistic, natural-based approach to wellness and loves to make her clients feel empowered by knowledge and self direction.

Born from a vision to bring like-minded practitioners together, The Arthritis Physio was rebranded in 2019 to Health in Motion Limited. Located in the quaint, rural township of Te Kowhai, Hamilton, Health in Motion's founder Jessica Fourie, believed that this unique health hub needed to be a special place for wellness.

When not in the clinic, Jessica is found either in the kitchen, or the outdoors enjoying everything from tennis to camping with her family.

Lydia Hickson | Massage Therapist

Lydia is our NZQA certified Holistic Massage Therapist. She has a real passion for people with a special interest in wellbeing and has a natural holistic approach to wellness.

Lydia spent most of her career in the Corporate World, and in December 2019 she decided to throw that in and follow her passion in health & wellness. The first chapter of Lydia's new journey started with her Powerhoop fitness business, bringing together a wonderful community of like-minded people who like to have fun together while exercising. Lydia has always had a deep interest in massage, so has opened up a new chapter in her life and is here to share this with you.

Every massage is tailored to the individual's own needs with the pressure moderated for each individual, working either gently or more firmly on the deep tissue. So if its a relaxing treat you're after or wanting to restore your body balance, you're in good hands.

Outside of work, Lydia enjoys fun experiences with her family, socialising, exercising and eating great food!
